We have an IH Farmall Super MTA Diesel (s/n 75942) that we have used as our loader tractor for 25 years. In talking to locals who have experience with vintage tractors, we have gathered some information about the value but I am looking for other opinions as well. It does run but not well.The Farmall 240 row-crop tractor used the International Harvester C-123 engine. It is a 2.0 L, 2,011 cm 2, (122.7 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine with 79.0 mm (3.11 in) of the cylinder bore and 102.0 mm (4.02 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 7.3:1. The Farmall 240 is equipped with manual steering ...Just switched from Firestone F151s (like new) size, 14.9x38 on 11 inch rims to Firestone SATs (35% tread, road worn) size, 16.9x38 on 16 inch rims on my Farmall M puller... Haven't really got them to hook really good yet, a lot of spinning out... Started out at 10 psi then 9, then 8. So, based on the above do they need more or less air pressure?.
