I was using Federal copperplated hollow points. The firing pin was striking the same spot consistently, but it seemed to be not striking close enough to the rim. I tried reloading the cartridges, but they still would not fire.These new 39A's with the rebounding safety do not. The old ones had a deep notch in the hammer that the trigger would slip into and be safe. The new ones only have a ledge in the hammer that the trigger rests ON, not IN.
