Put the wrench on the plug head, and hit the other end of the wrench with the hammer, it's basically like a Poor mans impact wrench. Be sure you are turning counter clockwise.Access the plug through the left rear wheel well. It should be a large hex head. The problem may be something in the transmission which would need to be inspected for any components causing the problems and then repaired/replaced from there.
