Wifi is finicky on the Switch in MHR. Try switching between 2.4 and 5 signals for wifi. Mine works better on 5 GHz and on 2.4 I have that problem fairly consistently with MHR. No multiplayer issues on other games using 2.4 so something is rise is buggy.
