The 2019 vintage started with lots of winter and spring rain and in the summer it showed some similarities with 2018 with a little extra power to it. We had fewer heat spells than normal, but it was overall a little warmer than 2018. This translated into a long but warm growing season which gave us really nice ripeness and dense wines.
